Pianist and composer Andrew Asante was born and raised in Ghana where he learned and performed African and gospel music. Moving to London,
he was introduced to new styles of music including European contemporary jazz, postbop Jazz and classical music. He graduated with a BA in Jazz from Middlesex University in 2010, and received his MMus in Jazz from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2018
